This Part replaces GA 426-2003 "AFIS data exchange file format" in part, have not been included in place of GA 426-2008 "fingerprint data exchange format" in other parts.

This section GA 426-2003 compared with the following changes.

--- Modify the files that make up;

--- Expands the range of logical record;

--- Remove Appendix E (Normative Appendix) ANSI encoding information exchange, modify the definition of a separator for a direct reference GB/T 1988-1998;

--- Increase the swap file release notes, as an information appendix.

Appendix A of this section is an informative annex.

1 Scope

This section specifies the file format GA 426 fingerprint data exchange.

This section applies to the exchange of fingerprint information between the Automated Fingerprint Identification System.
