1 Foreword

FZ/T 12084-2025 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 17 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 July 2026.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, designation, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and corresponding test methods for grey yarns blended from cotton and Lyocell fiber (cotton-type staple fiber). It applies to: ring-spun (including conventional ring spinning, Siro spinning, compact spinning, and Siro-compact spinning) grey yarns blended from combed cotton and Lyocell fiber (20% � content � 80%); air-jet vortex-spun grey yarns blended from carded cotton and Lyocell fiber (50% � content � 80%); and rotor-spun grey yarns blended from carded cotton and Lyocell fiber (content � 50%).
