This part is the ninth part of DZ/T 0276.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces DY-94 "Testing procedures for physical and mechanical properties of rocks. 13. Test for resistance to disintegration". This part is compared with DY-94, the main the technical changes are as follows.

--- Added two chapters "terms and definitions" and "principles";

--- Increased control requirements for water temperature;

--- Increased requirements for describing residual samples, water color and sediment in water;

--- Increased the relationship between the resistance to disintegration index and the number of cycles;

--- Modified the sample drying time;

--- Modified the accuracy requirements for the calculation results;

--- Revised the rock resistance test report.

This part is proposed by the Ministry of Land and Resources of the People's Republic of China.

This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Land Resources Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC93).

1 Scope

This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies the test method for determining the rock disintegration index.

This part is applicable to the test of frost resistance coefficient of clay rock and weathered rock in rock physical and mechanical properties test.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Disintegration index salkedurabilityindex After the two samples of the rock sample have been dried and wetted, the ratio of the mass of the sample remaining to the original mass is expressed as a percentage.

3 Principle

After two standard cycles of drying and wetting, the rock sample changes due to its ability to resist softening and disintegration.

The fracture resistance index of the rock was calculated by measuring the mass of the rock before and after the cycle.

4 Instruments

4.1 Disintegration tester (shown in Figure 1).

a) Transmission. It consists of a worm gear, a bearing, a turbine, a large shaft, and a motor. The device should rotate the cylinder at 20 r/min.

The rotation speed does not change within 10 minutes.

b) Cylindrical sieve cylinder. diameter 140mm, length 100mm, mesh diameter 2mm.

c) Sink. 150mm × 150mm × 120mm, equipped with a horizontal shaft to support the freely rotatable screen cylinder.
