This part is part 8 of DZ/T 0276.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces DY-94 "Testing procedures for physical and mechanical properties of rocks 8. Antifreeze test". This part is compared with DY-94, the main technology the changes are as follows.

--- Added three chapters of "normative reference documents", "terms and definitions", and "principles";

--- Increased the accuracy requirements for the calculation of the antifreeze coefficient and the freeze-thaw loss rate;

--- Revised the rock antifreeze test record sheet.

This part is proposed by the Ministry of Land and Resources of the People's Republic of China.

This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Land Resources Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC93).

1 Scope

This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies the test method for determining the frost resistance coefficient of rock.

This part is applicable to the rock freezing resistance test of water absorption rate greater than 0.5% in rock physical and mechanical properties test.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Antifreeze coefficient coefficientoffrostresistivity the ratio of the compressive strength of rock drying after freezing and thawing to the dry compressive strength of rock before freezing and thawing.

Mass loss rate masslossratio the ratio of the difference between the mass of the rock dry sample before and after freezing and thawing and the mass of the rock dried sample before freezing and thawing.

4 Principle

After the rock is saturated with water, it is subjected to a predetermined number of freeze-thaw cycles, and the rock mass and its compressive strength before and after the treatment are measured.

Calculate rock mass loss rate and frost resistance coefficient.

5 Instruments

5.1 Diamond machine, stone cutting machine, stone grinding machine, etc.

5.2 Material testing machine.

5.3 Drying box. The temperature can be controlled within the range of 105 °C ~ 110 °C.

5.4 Balance. The maximum weighing value is.2000g, and the reading accuracy is 0.01g.

5.5 Vernier caliper. The range is 15cm and the accuracy is 0.02mm.

5.6 Freezer. The temperature can be controlled within -20 °C ± 5 °C.
