This part is part 15 of DZ/T 0276.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces DY-94 "Testing procedures for physical and mechanical properties of rock 11. Breakdown voltage and breakdown strength test". This part and Compared with DY-94, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Added two chapters "terms and definitions" and "principles";

--- Increased the temperature control range of the drying oven;

--- Increased the vernier caliper and its measurement range;

--- Revised the breakdown voltage and breakdown strength test record table.

1 Scope

This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies test methods for determining rock breakdown voltage and breakdown strength.

This section applies to rock breakdown voltage and breakdown strength test in rock physical and mechanical properties test.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Breakdown voltage when a commercial power supply frequency voltage is applied to a rock sample by a continuous boosting method, the voltage value at which the rock sample is broken down is kV.

Said.

Breakdown strength the ratio of the voltage at which the rock sample is broken down to its thickness is expressed in kV/mm.

3 Principle

Applying an industrial power supply frequency voltage to the rock sample by continuous boosting until the sample is broken down, reading the breakdown voltage value, and then the breakdown strength was calculated by dividing the thickness of the sample.

4 Instruments

4.1 High voltage breakdown test device (as shown in Figure 1).
