This part is the 13th part of DZ/T 0276.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces DY-94 "Testing procedures for physical and mechanical properties of rocks 9. Specific heat test". This part is compared with DY-94, the main technology the changes are as follows.

--- Added three chapters of "normative reference documents", "terms and definitions", and "principles";

--- Added weighing plate equipment;

--- Added standard samples;

--- Increased the number of samples required;

--- Added an informative appendix on the specific heat value of the reference material under different temperature conditions;

--- Added an informative appendix on the specific heat value of water under different temperature conditions;

1 Scope

This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) method for the determination of rock specific heat.

This section applies to the rock specific heat test in rock physics and mechanics tests.

Specific heat

The mass of rock sample per unit mass rises or decreases the heat required by 1 ° C, which indicates the ability of the rock to store heat.

4 Principle

The rock sample is compared with the heat signal of the standard sample (known specific heat value) under temperature program control to determine the ratio of the sample.
