What this standard covers

This standard defines the A-XDR encoding rule, it can be used to export the core criteria used in the DLMS ASN. 1 (see DL/T 790. 441-2004) defined numeric type conversion syntax specification. These A-XDR encoding rules can also be used to identify the transformed decoded syntax conversion data values. A-XDR encoding rules: a) used in the communication, b) is the optimal encoding method DLMS PDU.
