What this standard covers

This standard applies to the voltage 3kV and above, the frequency of 50Hz power system running indoor and outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment used in live display device. Electric display device is used to provide high voltage electrical equipment operating personnel to be monitored at the main circuit voltage status. Relying solely on the live display device can not be sufficient to prove that the system displays energized state, in case of doubt or affect the provisions of the operating procedures, should be used in accordance with the requirements of the electroscope DL740 electrical inspection. This standard applies to both and live display device used in conjunction with the "Phase identifier" and "chain signal output unit. "
