DL/T 1572.2-2016 — This standard specifies the substation and power plant DC auxiliary power supply system short-circuit current on rigid conductors produced by the mechanical and thermal effects of the calculation method.

DC auxiliary system may include the following equipment to provide short-circuit current power supply: a) 50Hz three-phase AC bridge rectifier; b) fixed lead-acid batteries; c) smoothing capacitors; d) he encouraged the DC motor.

The methods provided in this section are generally applicable and the results are accurate enough. The method of calculation in this chapter is based on the algorithm of substitution function.

Using the substitution function, the maximum stress generated on the conductor and the actual electromagnetic force generated on the support can be approximated.

The standard calculation procedures in Chapters 2 and 3 apply to the calculation of the effects of rigid conductor electromagnets and thermal effects on bare conductors or electrical equipment.
