What this standard covers

This standard specifies the digital power line carrier body part terms, definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transport and storage. This standard applies to 35kV and above voltage level through the power line telephony and data transmission of digital power line carrier body parts. This standard does not apply to distribution line carrier, and digital power line carrier subsidiary of parts, such as: telephone exchange system, remote modem or other data, Teleprotection interfaces, Figure 1 voice and signaling port other than the telephone interface, Figure 1, data port other than the data interface, digital power line carrier equipment necessary to monitor and manage the communication functions other than the system.
