1 Foreword

CJJ 58-2009 was issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China on 24 November 2009 and has been in force since 1 August 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition CJJ 58-1994.

2 Scope

This standard applies to surface water and groundwater as a source of urban water supply plant operation, maintenance and safety management. The Statutes of the urban water supply plant operation, maintenance and safety of the basic technical requirements, when the procedures and state laws, administrative regulations conflict, they should be national laws, administrative regulations implemented.
