Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard is a revision of CJ/T 280-2008 "General Technical Requirements for Plastic Trash Bins". Compared with CJ/T 280-2008, the main the technical content changes are as follows.

---Modified "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2008 edition);

---The original standard figure 1 is deleted (see figure 1 in 2008);

---Modified the deviation range and test method of the volume (see 6.2 and 7.2, 6.2 and 7.2 of the 2008 edition);

---The volume requirements and test methods of the lid of the plastic trash can have been increased (see 6.2 and 7.2);

---Added 10L, 60L, 660L, 1100L plastic trash can structure, requirements, test methods and test record table (see 5.1, 5.2, 5.4, Chapter 6, Chapter 7, and Appendix A);

---The stability and traction test requirements and test methods of 120L and 240L plastic trash cans have been added (see 6.6.3, 6.6.4, 7.6.10 and 7.6.11);

---Modified the minimum requirement of Shore D hardness (see 6.5.2, 6.5.1 in 2008 edition);

---The original standard table 7 was revised, and the one-time sampling plan for normal inspection was updated according to GB/T 2828.1 (see 8.2, 2008 edition 8.2).

This standard was proposed by the Standard Rating Institute of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Appearance and Environmental Sanitation Standardization Technical Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, and transportation of plastic trash cans.

And storage, product accompanying documents.

This standard applies to plastic trash cans with nominal volumes of 10L, 60L, 120L, 240L, 660L and 1100L.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Nominal volume

The volume marked by the manufacturer.

Note. The unit is liters (L).

Ratedload

The product of the average test weight and the nominal volume, the average test weight is 0.4×103kg/m3.
